Longest Tuesday of my life, not in a bad way
I decided on a last minute basis to accompany my son to the US to send him off to college. It was certainly a rush to get the visa done up and tickets booked, but I managed to get it all done up in time.
The thing is I have been driving him to school and college every morning all these years. But this time though, I’m flying him off to college thousands of miles away. I had to do it.
It was a long flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo to Los Angeles to Monterey.
We got lost in Narita International Airport but we did managed to get a good shot just to say “I was here”! Yes! I’ve been to Japan! Haha.
We arrived at Los Angeles International Airport...
...the airport is huge but we were just at Terminal 7 and there weren’t much to look at but don’t you just love the name of this bookshop: Book Soup.
We flew to Monterey Regional Airport in a smaller plane. And I took so many pictures out the window. It looks so different from what I usually see.
We took a Lyft (an Uber alternative) and arrived at our AirBnB in Seaside. In just minutes, I already love this place.
