Wonderful Things of the World #9: Gyuniku Negimaki

This is something I will always order when I'm in a Japanese sushi restaurant.

I was in Sushi Tei Midvalley today and I must say they serve one of the best I've ever tasted, not that I have been to many sushi restaurants nor have I been to Japan.

But hmm...it was utterly delicious.

Gyuniku Negimaki means beef spring onion roll. And is it true that it originated in Manhattan? Not in Japan but in a Japanese restaurant nonetheless? Interesting.
